Who we are
Almacube
Almacube is the incubator, accelerator and innovation hub of the University of Bologna and Confindustria Emilia Area Centro. We work to promote the economic development of the region through innovation with established companies, the development of new companies (startups and spinoffs), the education of new generations to an entrepreneurial approach.
Almacube is founded in 1999 by the University of Bologna to support University spin-offs.
In 2013, Confindustria Emilia Area Centro joined the membership, strengthening the synergy with businesses.
Since 2017 Almacube has been organized into two business units (Start-Up Spin-Off; Open Innovation): supporting emerging entrepreneurs on their path to market while providing innovation services to established companies.
